About the Owners of Amalan Flooring

Amalan Flooring was founded in 2004 by Ricky Henderson and Sylvan Incao. Ricky, a native of Austrialia, and Sylvan, originally from New York, came together in the fall of 2004 with a common vision to create an exceptional, world class business.

Both Ricky and Sylvan combined their years of experience in flooring, home remodeling and more artistic endeavors to create a business whose focus and passion is to bring not just utility but beauty to a home.

As owner-operators and long time friends they also bring a dedication to integrity and caring toward their relationships with customers, vendors and allied business alike.

Amalan Flooring has begun to make it’s name in the tri-city area with a focus on high-quality custom work not just on floors, but in showers, jetted tubs, counter tops, steam baths, and other more unique applications.

Hardwood, natural stone, cork, bamboo, wool carpet and other natural materials are at the heart of Amalan Flooring’s design principles and continue to set it apart as a leader in the flooring industry.
